Navigating through Converge first required making a selection on the map. Here is a few different ways you can select your assets so you can run reports, export data or investigate further.

1. Start by jumping to a location. You can either pan or zoom to a specific area, or enter the location on the search bar either through DLS, NTS or Lat/Long coordinates.

Once you're in your area of interest, you can draw a selection area using the rectangular or spatial selection tools from the toolbar. The results from your selection will populate in the data panel below the map. You can always clear your selection set to start over.

2. The second way to identify your assets is by using the Query Builder.

You can enter specific search criteria from Pipelines, Facilities, Wells or Incidents. As well as search by Licensee, Risk Consequence, Status, Specification or Hierarchy. You can also save any queries to run again later. Results from the query will be highlighted on the map, and shown in the data panel.

If you are looking to make a selection on Crossings specifically, be sure to turn on the Crossing Thematic in your map layers. This will allow you to run a Pipeline Crossing Report.

3. The final way to build a selection is through an import. Use the Selection Template linked below to create a pipeline list. Then, click Import from the side panel, then select Converge Pipeline List. Add your file, and navigate back to the map to view your selection.

Once you have made a selection, navigating into Asset Management will allow you to view details of each of the assets, and you can review documents or add any comments. You can also select Export to download a Report or Shapefile.
