User Roles and Permissions in Converge
Converge is designed to support a range of users across your organization. Access is role-based, ensuring security.
1. View Access
Users with View access can:
• Interact with energy infrastructure data
• View company-specific assets and attributes
• Run Reports and Queries
• Use tools like printed Maps, Annotations, Filters, and Imagery
• Prepare One Call submissions
This role is ideal for users who need to monitor and analyze data without making changes.
2. Edit Access
Users with Edit access have all the capabilities of View users, plus the ability to:
• Edit pipeline attributes and instantly see your updates Company-wide
• Perform bulk Import of pipeline asset data
• Manage Corporate Hierarchies
• Attach Documents and Notes to assets
3. Modules
Access to the available modules requires specific permissions, as each module depends on user-provided data inputs to generate analytical results:
• Crossing Administrator Access
• Risk Administrator Access
• Connectivity Administrator Access
