On Converge, you can edit your pipeline attributes, individually or in bulk. With Editor permissions, you can make updates or removed unlicensed lines for your company's assets.

For each of these steps, begin by making a selection from the map.

To make an edit to an individual pipeline:

  1. Open the Asset Info page for the pipeline
  2. Click on the Edit icon in the top right corner.

  3. Values that are available to edit will appear in blue. If there is no value currently entered, a blue dotted line will be displayed. You can type or select from the drop down to edit the values you wish to change.

  4.  Once you are done, click the Save icon

edited values will appear in bold italics so you can track the attributes that have changed.

To make edits in bulk:

  1. Select Export > Pipeline Export
  2. The spreadsheet will have all the editable attributes listed, as well as drop downs which you can use to update your data.
  3. Select Import from the sidebar. Ensure the file type is set to Converge Pipeline List. Then, add your file.
  4. Review the Valid Edits, then select Import to add your data.

To review your edits:

Select Reports from the sidebar, then choose User Edit History. This will display a screen with the details of any edits that have been made for your selection, within your organization. You will be able to see the user who has made them, as well as the previous value and a date.

The changes you have made will be immediately viewable in Converge. Changes will be cascaded to other industry applications (i.e., AccuMap, geoSCOUT) during the next update cycle.
