Optional background imagery in Converge

Converge offers four background imagery options (found in the bottom right-hand corner of the Mapping Panel) to help you customize your map view based on your needs and preferences:


Available Background Layers

  1. Topographic - Displays elevation contours and terrain features—ideal for understanding geographic context.

  2. Satellite Imagery - Provides high-resolution aerial views for a realistic representation of the landscape.

  3. OpenStreetMap - A detailed street-level map showing roads, buildings, and other infrastructure.

  4. Grid View - A clean, minimal background with a grid overlay—useful for focusing on asset data without visual distractions.




Map makers!

These background layers are not only visible during map exploration—they are also included in any maps you generate or export from Converge. This ensures consistency between what you see and what you share.
