The Connectivity Manager enables you to link assets and build a system diagram. With Flow Apportionment, you can visualize production and manage your connected network effectively.

System Icons Overview

Below are the key icons and their functions within the Connectivity module:

Connectivity Manager allows you to connect your assets to build a system diagram. Using Flow Apportionment, you can visualize production and manage your connected network. 


The following are icons that can be accessed within the module. 



Valves

  • States: Open (default) or Closed
  • Function:
    • Open valves allow commodities to pass through.
    • Closed valves block the flow of commodities.

Note: When a valve is closed, it will completely restrict flow through that segment of the system.

Tanks and Trucks

  • Substance Values:

    • Unknown (default)
    • Oil
    • Gas
    • Water

  • Behavior:

    • Assets with the Unknown value are excluded from flow calculations.
    • If located on a site with separation, tanks/trucks behave like pipelines.
    • If not on a separation site, they do not affect flow.
    • Separation effectiveness rules are applied accordingly.
